Fan remix of Manabu Namiki's BGM. The original Japanese PCB review recap: Ketsui is a vertically scrolling serious shoot `em-up by Cave. The genre this game falls into more specifically is one of the `maniac 2D shooters` that have become the latest form of expression of the oldest genre known. The graphics are simply marvelous, certainly the best Cave has yet to offer by a country mile. Everything has an almost believable design; meaty vehicles, explosions, wonderful animation, a subtle yet bright when needed colour palette coupled with, surprisingly for Cave; minimal wait/slowdown. In this game even the music is excellent. Controls are to be as expected-flawless. Three buttons are used; A) Lock-on focused power shot. B) Smart bomb. C) Normal rapid automatic shot (spread or straight depending on the selection of the two ships available). The simple scoring system based on time and distance from smaller enemies is both rewarding and challenging. Ketsui is easily Caves best game and one of the best modern time best shoot em-ups ever. 10/10.     Using Audiosurf as the visualizer. Mono Pro with Ironmode. Helps with the strange turns and surrealist ambience. So, yeah, PRESENTED BY EVAC AND CHORD PIANISSIMO. Site: interception.xii.jp Yeah, it's official, I'm a fan of these arranges. In fact, this is one of those situations where I have to admit I like the arrange far, FAR, more than the original song, which is your average mind numbing techno with those strange metallic noises that both KETUI and DoDonPachi DOJ share. Moreover, I hope he's eventually making an arrange album because that would be an instant buy. I put piano version but it contains strings and drum sections. Still, a beautiful piece and I'm amazed at how the guy translated the original tune into this great awesomeness. My only gripe is that the arranges tend to lean towards a 'sad' mood, but in the case of Ketsui it fits it like a glove.
